With Faith and Honor
Through our teachers, staff, and carefully crafted cirriculum, SOTH students are provided with the highest level of academic learning in a safe setting.
Faith is the foundation of the Shepherd of the Hills cirriculum. All lesson plans are carefully constructed by our teachers and staff with christian teachings in mind.
Our classrooms combine children of different ages. We believe that multi-grade classrooms foster an increased eagerness to learn, as well as a more home-like environment.
A School Where All Are Welcome
We offer Christian education to all families within our ommunity. You do not need to be a member of our church, or any church, to enroll in the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran School. Part of our mission is to make education available to all who seek it.
Safe Social Climate
We provide a safe setting with few discipline and bully problems where students can focus on the instruction and enjoy going to school.
Good communication between teacher and parents is very beneficial for each student. We continually communicate with our families through many mediums, and are always available to talk whether it be face to face, email, phone, or text.
With our reduced teacher-to-student ratios, small class sizes, and mixed-age classrooms, your child will feel right at home.
Small, multi-grade classrooms provide an instructional setting that is better suited to the individual student.
Students are taught God’s Word in its truth and purity through daily Bible lessons, hymns, and throughout our curriculum.
We continually communicate with our families, and are always available to talk whether it be face to face, email, phone, or text.
“Blessed that my children had the opportunity to attend here. The benefits will last a lifetime; academically and spiritually. If you want a school where the teachers truly care and love your child, this is it.”
“Love this school and the people in it! They offer a Christ-centered education with integrated classrooms (K-4, and 5-8). The school is small so there is lots of one-on-one time; allowing the teachers to know each students personality.”
